Thank You

For the son who didn’t get a chance to call his mom
Or the daughter who cried out to her mom at the last minute.
For the Mother and Father who didn’t come home,
And who’s last breath was their children’s names
For the husband who thought of his wife and the wife
Who wished her husband was there to hold her one last time.
For the Grandfather who clutched a picture of his grandkids and the
Grandmother who prayed to God to watch over her family.
For the boyfriend who was going to propose at Christmas and
The girlfriend who will never know.
For the brothers and sisters who wished they had been closer to their brothers
And sisters.
For friends who helped us through bad times and made us laugh.
For employees who make our business run.
For the many that risked their lives to save others and lost their own.
For the people who watched in horror and disbelief. For the scared, the angry,
The lost, and the found.
For those who have no idea where their loved ones are and for those who have been Reunited.
For those that are planning for funerals and for those that get another day.
For our Country and our Leaders.
And for ourselves, we must now come together and pray.
